ADAMSON, Caroline Bell

Mrs. Caroline Bell Adamson, age 82, died at her home in Covington at 1 o'clock Tuesday morning, following an extended illness. She was born at Danville, Ill on August 27, 1860, the daughter of William and Caroline Reeves Bell in September 1887 she was married to John M. Adamson. At that time she omved to Covington from a farm in Vermillion County. Her husband died in 1917. Mrs. Adamson attended the Perrysville school sand the Valparaiso School of Music. She was a member of the Covington Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star and Covington Women's Club. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Lucas, of Covington and two sons, Frank Adamson of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Malcolm of Cottage Grove, Michigan, 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild survive. One son, George Adamson, died in 1936. The funeral was held from the residence Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. JS White, of the Methodist Church in charge. Burial was made in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
